Scarpa Instinct S Climbing Shoe Review 2015
Check out our review of the Scarpa Instinct S climbing shoe, by Climbing Daily presenter, Dave Searl.

Vibram XS grip 2
The natural evolution of a winning compound, XS Grip 2 rubber improves upon the superior grip characteristics of XS Grip and delivers outstanding precision in the form of support, shape and stability. It provides exceptional grip in every condition and was developed especially for climbing shoes by Vibram.

100% Lorica® Upper
Lorica is a synthetic material, often used to make high-performance climbing shoes. It doesn't stretch, like leather does, but is still very comfortable, providing the wearer with lasting fit and durability.

Bi-tension Active Randing System
The Scarpa Bi-Tension Active Randing system provides maximum toe power. Like a reverse Slingshot, it starts from underneath the toes and connects to the heel rand, drawing energy up from the toes, which provides a precise fit but without painfully jamming your toes forward. It also uses less rubber which makes for lighter shoes.

High Friction Toe Patch
Scarpa’s High Friction Toe Patch is made from specialised soft rubber; because the rubber is so soft, it creates more friction between the shoe and the rock, which results in better grip and easier toe-hooking.
